This new ERP solution’s system needed to scale, onboard new users, and communicate its value. The story Many VIP transfer services in the Balkans still rely on paper schedules, Viber groups and phone calls, leading to delays, miscommunication, and no data to guide decisions. What began as a regional solution is now growing globally, helping agencies modernize and scale. How Pillbie’s Smart Medication Dispenser got its first Brand & Product Design based on TG constraints

Pillbie Mobile + Hardware Solution for Young Patients to Boost Their Adherence Streak Website Google Play Store App Store Scope UX & UI Redesign (mobile+web) × New Feature UX × Complete × Branding × UX Research × Design System Timeline Q2 2023 – Present Tools Figma × FigJam × Miro × Hotjar × Jira × AI,Ps,Ae Team 2 Founders × 2 Developers × 2 Hardware Engineer The challenge Medication adherence is a global health issue—especially for younger patients who struggle with routine. We set out to build a solution that’s simple, intelligent, and emotionally supportive, not just clinically functional. That meant rethinking both the physical experience of taking pills and the digital experience that guides it. We had no external deadlines or investors—just a high bar for quality, and a personal mission. Over time, the product evolved from concept to MVP, and through a full redesign in 2024 as we refined our target audience and visual identity. The story I was always the type who had constant pen notes all over my hands in high school, and had multiple parallel methods to remind myself to every single task. So it can’t come as a shock when I say that remembering to take medication has never been easy either. I also had the feeling that I wasn’t alone with this issue. While waiting for the birth of our first son, my husband and I started talking about a real solution to a problem we knew intimately. That’s how Pillbie was born: a personal need that turned into a healthcare startup combining smart hardware and user-centered design to help others build a reliable medication routine. Impact Led product design from early sketches to launch Took over product management, coordinating developers, prioritizing features, and shaping timelines Designed and rebranded the mobile app’s UX & UI to focus on clarity, youthfulness, and motivation Developed interaction flows between app and dispenser Conducted user interviews, concept testing, and usability tests with chronic patients and caregivers Built a lightweight but scalable design system with custom illustrations and iconography Outcomes • Secured initial funding post-launch• Onboarded first annual subscribers• Reduced key usability friction points across both platforms• Positioned product for international expansion What Made This Project Special We replaced outdated offline workflows with a unified digital tool, streamlining operations for a traditionally underserved niche.
