Prorentico
SaaS Product Redesign • Booking & Registration Platform • B2B/B2C
Summary
Prorentico is a B2B SaaS platform that allows homeowners, property managers, and rental hosts in Montenegro to register guests for tourist taxes, manage bookings, and handle administrative tasks online. I redesigned the entire product experience—UX, UI, flows, and component system—to modernize the platform, eliminate friction, and improve the onboarding experience for both hosts and tourists.
Impact
Prorentico’s platform supports a significant footprint in Montenegro’s tourism ecosystem by powering the operational workflows behind 40,000+ reservations, 4,000+ accommodation units, and 100,000+ guests across its system, reflecting both traveler reach and business adoption. By transforming manual guest registration, tourist tax filings, and booking administration into streamlined digital flows, the redesign directly improved service efficiency and reduced administrative friction for property owners. These measurable outcomes have increased operational clarity, reduced time spent on repetitive tasks, and enabled hosts to focus on guest experiences rather than paperwork, strengthening the product’s value proposition for local tourism stakeholders.
Tools
Problem statement
The previous platform was functional but lacked , with confusing flows, low discoverability, and an interface that made registration tasks unnecessarily difficult.
Hosts struggled with:
- unclear steps
- inconsistent UI patterns
- outdated visual style
- slow navigation
- missing hierarchy in forms
Prorentico needed a more modern system that could support tourism growth, reduce administrative stress for hosts, and help tourists register quickly and accurately.
Users & Audience
The product supports:
- Tourist property owners registering guests and handling payments
- Managers & agencies managing multiple apartments
- Tourists completing self-registration flows
This required a platform that is minimal, reliable, and optimized for both high-tech and low-tech users.
Design process
I began by restructuring the information architecture, defining clear flows for registration, apartment management, and booking logic. The goal was to reduce the time required to complete a registration and improve clarity across all input-heavy tasks. I then created a new design system: simplified navigation, modern dashboard components, clearer hierarchy for forms, updated iconography, and visuals aligned with Montenegro’s tourism standards.
UX & UI Improvements
Key improvements included:
- consistent table structures
- simplified booking overview
- revised color palette for clarity
- accessible, readable typography
Outcomes
The redesign modernized the entire Prorentico platform and improved the overall owner and tourist experience. The new system is easier to use, faster to navigate, and structured to support additional features and municipalities in the future. It creates a more professional, trustworthy digital experience for Montenegro’s tourism ecosystem.
