The challenge
The European Youth Card Association needed a scalable mobile and admin platform for countries without national apps, supporting millions of young users across Europe. My task was to design a multi-language, modular solution while staying fully aligned with EYCA’s strict brand guidelines.
Working with a complex system of roles and content types (cards, forums, partner offers, news), I helped bring structure to the chaos, mapping out user journeys, refining content hierarchies, and adapting UI components to meet both functional and visual expectations across countries.
Impact
- Designed and prototyped a mobile and admin system that works across markets
- Balanced strict brand compliance with flexibility for future modules and features
- Created a scalable IA and UI system that supports localization, age restrictions, and dynamic content
- Delivered a functional prototype early, enabling quick feedback and iteration

Outcomes
- Successfully launched on Android and iOS
- Enabled modular rollout across countries with no national EYCA app
- Delivered a UX foundation for long-term platform scalability
- Introduced flexible content modules like age-specific forums and regional news
What Made This Project Special?
This was a project about structure, consistency, and scale. Working under the strong visual identity of EYCA, I learned how to navigate large-brand constraints without sacrificing usability. It was a deep UX challenge that merged system thinking with pixel-level detail—ultimately helping bring EYCA’s mission closer to millions of young Europeans.
